My goodness, the joys one could send across the country for a mere penny. Somebody is certainly in love with her own appearance, isn’t she? Of course, we men know that this is what women do when they have the house to themselves.
Seriously, one must wonder what this glamour girl is doing all alone in her scantest lingerie. No doubt she is simply preparing for a tryst, and he’s late. He’d better have a darn good reason.
This linen postcard, published in 1940, in in absolutely pristine condition; it could have been made yesterday. Unfortunately, I have no recollection of how it came to be in my possession.
