One of a series of vintage pinup postcards in this modern re-publication by the late PinUpCards.com. Except for the number “11”, there is no descriptive text on the back of the card.
Compare this vintage glamour photo with, say, any advertisement in the pages of the most recent issue of Glamour magazine. The advertisements show less skin (in some cases, not much less) but, almost without exception, are sexual in nature and titillate in order to sell a product.
By contrast, this model of yesteryear, despite being completely nude, seems innocent; not much more than a figure study. A very nice figure study.
