From Flanders, Valentina sends a postcard of this work by Johan Van Vlaenderen. I remember studying Flemish painters in school but don’t recall any work quite like this; I think my preference has begun leaning toward the modern Flemish masters. While I am not sure of the title of this work (or if it even has a title), Sweet Comic Valentine is the name of Van Vlaenderen’s latest book, featuring 40 of his works.
